Symptoms:
- Muscular weakness

- Loss of balance and coordination
Tests to diagnose:
A CT scan or an MRI of the head is typically the first test performed.
To determine the type,loaction and cause of the stroke:
- Blood tests
- ECG,EKG
- Cerebral angiography
- Carotid/doppler ultrasound
Treatment:
- Blood thinning drugs (aspirin,warfarin,heparin)
- Clot bursting drug (t-PA)
- Surgery: To remove clots around the brain and restore blood vessels
- Intracranial vascular treatments (Partially invasive)
